GET YOUR CHEER ON!
The buzz on race day is electric and the role the crowds play in supporting all the runners is invaluable. Your cheers give a much-needed boost when legs are starting to tire, helping to find the little extra energy you didn’t know was there!
The race starts at 08.30 from Bridge Road, a 10 minute walk from Wembley Stadium. The first runners will be expected back inside Wembley Stadium just after 09.30 with the majority of runners crossing the finish line between 10.15 and 11.00. The Schools’ Challenge will also be taking place, starting and finishing inside the stadium before the half marathon runners cross the finish line.
Wembley Stadium spectators
The race will start just outside of Wembley Park on Bridge Road, with runners returning for an epic stadium finish inside Wembley Stadium. Runners and fans will be welcomed into the stadium, where this year’s race village will be hosted. Take a seat in the awe-inspiring stadium overlooking the hallowed football turf and of course, the Greatest Finish Line in the World.
We’re keen for as many friends and family to be able to watch their loved ones cross the finish line as possible – therefore to enable us to open up a sufficient amount of seating, please help us by registering as a spectator. Please note that by registering as a spectator you are not booking a specific seat inside the stadium and will therefore not receive a ticket; seating is free, unallocated and will be issued on a first-come first-served basis.
Our roaming camera will be looking to celebrate every dedicated fan on the big screens, so make sure you’re wearing your Sunday best! Take in the national stadium in all its glory, get a selfie with the England mascots and don’t forget to check out Dale Bennett & The Incidentals playing whilst you enjoy a hot drink and a bacon sarnie.
On race day, bag checks will be in operation, so please avoid bringing large rucksacks and suitcases and make sure you allow plenty of time upon arrival.
Food & Drink Concessions: A number of concessions selling refreshments will be open within the stadium concourse to keep your energy levels up while your friends and family are running.
Information Points: Look out for our roaming Information Marshals in the Race Village wearing bright green bobble hats, they are able to help with any queries relating to the event as well as providing directions.
